The Challenge of Thinking: FACTS of Diving Workshop

The Challenge of Thinking: FACTS of Diving Workshop

Have you ever wondered WHY we do what we do when on a dive?… Because that is what the manual says? Because my instructor told me so?

WHY do we search for 1 minute if we lose our buddy and then ascend?
WHY do we do a safety stop? Do we HAVE to do a safety stop?
WHY do we ascend at 9m per minute? Do we HAVE to ascend at 9m per minute?
WHY do we donate our primary regulator during an out of air scenario?

All these questions and many more will be discussed and answers will be provided in this INTERACTIVE workshop…. Challenge the way you think!!

Formal dive training is knowledge-based and undertaking specialist courses is an excellent way to gain knowledge and experience in specific diving activities. Divers however, have to build their own bridges to link the various courses and information provided.  Many divers believe they understand diving from being properly trained. Many other divers believe they understand diving from experience. Both groups receive their understanding passively. It just is! Accept the challenge and learn to think about, and understand the ‘FACTS’ of diving.

The workshop is based on the experience of Jeremy’s 20+ years and thousands of dives as a dive professional. It will challenge you to think and question why things are as they are. Real life scenarios will be discussed.
