ITINERARY FOR A SINGLE DIVE TO THE CORAL REEF

  • Call Scuba World the afternoon before your scheduled dive at 4:30pm to confirmthe weather conditions
  • Arrive at Scuba World at the appropriate time. There is a loading zone in front of Scuba World for you to unload your equipment and possessions. Free all-day parking is provided
  • Meet and greet the Scuba World team. They will inform you where to safely secure your equipment/personal belongings & where the toilets are located
  • Complete the appropriate paper work and payment
  • Set up your equipment on your first tank. If you are hiring equipment a Scuba World team member will fit you correctly. If you have any questions or concerns please ask one of our team members. They are there to make your day as hassle free and enjoyable as possible.
  • Take your scuba system (tank, regulator, computer & BCD) down to our dive vessel. We can take your equipment & tank down to the vessel if you would like. Simply ask one of the team members on the day.
  • Opportunity to go to the toilet and store any loose possessions or equipment in our lock-up area.
  • Put your wetsuit & boots on. Take the rest of your equipment (Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Gloves, Camera, Torch, etc) down to the dive vessel.
  • Depart the marina (10 minute boat ride to river mouth)
  • A team member will complete the boat brief
  • Break into dive groups to discuss the dive plan for the first dive
  • Short 10 minute boat ride from the river mouth to the dive site
  • Put your equipment on. If you need any help please ask one of our team members.
  • Enjoy your first dive (maximum 50 minute bottom time)
  • Short 20 minute boat ride from the dive site to Scuba Worlds private marina
  • Unload equipment off the dive vessel
  • Facilities will be made available to wash dive gear if required, as are showering amenities. Before departing you have the opportunity to fill in your log books, receive a discount voucher for Hogs Breathe Café and talk to any of the team about diving trips, courses or equipment.

  • Spend the 1 hour surface interval in the calm waters of Mooloolaba Bay. Enjoy a beautiful morning tea and swap tanks.
  • This is the perfect opportunity to discuss the 2nddive, talk about courses, future trips, etc.
  • Short 10 minute boat ride back to the dive site
  • Put your equipment on. If you need any help please ask one of our team members.
  • Enjoy your second dive (maximum 50 minute bottom time)
  • Short 20 minute boat ride from the dive site to Scuba Worlds private marina
  • Unload equipment off the dive vessel
